The boys did great during both four hour road trips, and did great over all for the three days we were there. The first night in the hotel with both kids was a little rough, Beckett just cried and cried because he could see us laying in a bed right beside him. The second night we all slept great. Not bad for our first trip away from home as a family.
We had such a fun time catching up with everyone, and meeting so many wonderful people. Sharing breakfast in the mornings, dinner and swimming in the evenings was just part of the fun. Truitt was so happy, and it's safe to say he was almost easier than Beckett! At the reunion itself, which was held outside at a park shelter, both of the boys did SO well. They both slept an hour each, and had loads of fun playing with their cousins. It was a great weekend, and we hope to be able to make it again next year!
We started out by saying bye to the doggies. My mom and dad kept them for the weekend, and when my mom came to pick them up, Beckett was giving their carrier kisses!
He loves giving anyone and everyone kisses. It's the sweetest.

Pennsylvania, here we come!

Within 20 minutes, both boys were sound asleep.

When we got to the hotel, we had a pajama party in the dining room and ate
some yummy carry-out.

Truitt took a long nap before the reunion. Good thing he got that sleep in,
because he did so good.

TV junkies. He loves watching Sports Center with daddy.

Our free entertainment at the reunion was a hot air balloon. There was a wedding near by that was taking pictures in it, so we got to watch it all. Very interesting to see it being
put up so close by.

Beckett watching with Uncle Jason.

Truitt meeting his Great-Great Aunts. Such sweet women.

Beckett lasted almost five hours, until he finally gave in and feel asleep.

We spent our last night at the hotel swimming. Truitt swam with his neck ring
for the first time. It was so exciting to see him experience complete
freedom from his tight little muscles.

What wonderful pictures....moments to remember forever!
Connecting with family is the best! Being separated by miles is difficult and just spending time together is such a blessing. Thanks for coming!
