Physical Therapy

After four longs weeks off, because Truitt has been sick for that long now, we made our way back to Children's Close to Home Center to see Catie for PT.

Greg came with us, so I got to sit in the backseat with Truitt, in order to make sure he didn't choke on all of his nasal drainage. We almost had to cancel again. This nasty cold is getting the best of him, well, and us too.

He is the best little backseat buddy!

He loves riding in the car!

While we were in the waiting room, Truitt had to wear a mask because of his coughing. He didn't mind it at all, he looked so cute in it!

At therapy, Truitt got another try on the Pony Walker again. It is called a Pony Walker because they sit on it kind of like they would on a pony. Although his legs are doing well, and he does wonderful with taking one step in front of the other, his arms will hold him back greatly with using a regular walker. Most walkers require good arm strength, which Truitt doesn't have, so for now he will continue on the Pony Walker, in hopes that someday he can move up to a push walker.

Here he is using the Pony Walker!

He is still trying to get the hang of it. He must learn how to push off with his feet in order to get anywhere. He is just barely tall enough for it in the first place, so as he grows, it will greatly be to his advantage.

When we got home, Truitt was so tired. He was laughing when Ellie was giving him kisses.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Those pictures are priceless, especially "The Lone Ranger Mask"...he really goes with the flow! I think we could all learn a lesson on being accepting of whatever comes our way ;0)! Nothing like kisses from his favorite dogs!
