Just keeps getting better

So things are looking even better for little Truitt, and man is he deserving of that! He is doing so good still with his feedings. They found out that he was not on a high enough dose of the seizure medication, which explains why he had the seizure. They now have corrected the dose and all should be taken care of. He is also on another seizure medication which they don't think he needs any longer...it's a really good thing if he doesn't!

Just as I was leaving, the nurse told me they were going to remove his PICC line. It is an IV that enters into a vein which is then placed close to the heart. It is a much safer way to provide such little babies with meds and fluids. He has had it in since a few days after he arrived, and it is being taken out because he no longer needs it...yesss! That means he is even one step closer to coming home. Look how big he is getting! Even hold his head up like a big boy!
